I talked to the American Legion and they will be having a Veteran’s Day event on Nov. 11th, which is our meeting day.  The hall will not be available for our gathering.  So, we will be meeting at:

Golden Corral, 4770 Houston Rd., Florence.  I have their party room reserved from 5:30pm – 8:00pm.  Come eat before our meeting starting at 7pm.

Jerry, Luanne, John and I attended Chapter C’s meeting on 10/25/25 and we were able to get the traveling plaque!

11/01/25 – Saturday – Chapter K Meeting – Meet at 12:30 CT & eat after. Diamond Echo Lanes, 1698 2nd St., Henderson, KY

Hazardous waste disposal event november 1st

The Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event on November 1, 2025, will be held at Thomas More Stadium in Florence, KY. This event is open exclusively to residents of Boone, Campbell, and Kenton counties. Residents are encouraged to complete a registration form before arriving to help manage traffic and dropoff. The event is organized by the Northern Kentucky Solid Waste Management Area and sponsored by the Kentucky Division of Waste Management. It provides a convenient and responsible way to dispose of hazardous materials that cannot be thrown away with regular household trash.
